| This site in the not too distant future will host a comprehensive and very detailed documentation of the now abandoned Pine Ridge Mountain mines which is located in Plains Township, Pennsylvania. Loads of pictures and background will shed some light into the past of this former anthracite coal mine! Be sure to check back in late 2008 for the site to be up and running. I am currently busy with my teaching and history classes. This site will host an interesting aspect into the lives of the former miners and their forgotten era. Thank you very much. |
